How circular economy and social enterprises contribute to the inclusive city
Social enterprises and NGOs provide important services to the local community addressing social issues, and often with a strong link to the circular economy.
Inequality in health is a challenge and a focus of attention for the city of Malmö. Malmö was the first city in the world to launch a local commission for social sustainability, the “Malmö Commission”, which finished its work in 2013. The work to build a more social sustainable city, with no health inequalities, is an ongoing process.
