Local and regional leaders are heeding the global call to embed resilience in all sectors, systems and processes at the local level. Resilient development and risk management is a critical piece of preparing communities not only for the impacts that climate change has already brought, but beyond, to a multi-dimensional approach.
The ICLEI Network has spent ten years exploring resilience strategies through the ICLEI Resilient Cities Congress series. At ICLEI World Congress 2021-2022, our network gathered together again to address the urgency of these issues, as set out in the UN Decade of Action.
