According to the UNEP, the world is on track to exceed warming beyond 1.5 degrees by 2030 unless global emissions are reduced by 7.6% per year between 2020-2030. At this critical juncture, we must shift toward the next practices and science-informed, agenda-setting innovation.
Current approaches to climate action mainly involve improving existing systems. How might we encourage collaborative efforts across various sectors to question and change the fundamental logic that has brought us to the current state of poly-crises? Our speakers will focus on how to generate solutions that disrupt the status quo, move away from reactive processes, and foster fresh opportunities for human advancement. Our conversation isn’t just theoretical; it’s about tangible changes that can be applied across different scales – from local communities to global policy frameworks.
